Laganja's music career began in 2014 with her hit single “Legs” featuring internationally-renowned rapper, Rye Rye. Her upcoming EP “Exhibit A” produced by Papa Spock/BSE will be available on iTunes, Spotify, TuneCore and Amazon Music soon!
Laganja’s newest, released single “Smoke Break” is available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and Google Play. The single, featuring J Tyler, has been reviewed as, “addressing so many critical issues in a song that is extremely catchy and beautiful!“
One of Laganja’s most popular songs is “Look At Me” released in 2018. Billboard describes this track in their review Laganja Estranja Drops Socially Conscious Club Anthem 'Look At Me'
“Directed by Assaad Yacoub, the club-ready tune is packaged into a short film that tackles discriminatory drug laws, racial profiling, and white privilege, as her boyfriend is targeted by the police in a parked car. All the while, Estranja turns the courtroom into a dance studio, squeezing her range of talents into the hyperactive, neon-hued clip. It’s worth watching until the very end, as grim statistics on low-level drug crimes and disproportionate incarcerations for African-American and Latino people are put on display.”
Other lifestyle collaborations garnering national press attention include her jewelry line "Laganja Estranja is My Enemy" by CHRISHABANA and with companies such as Littered Nation and Blunted Objects.
As a model, Laganja has walked the runways of the Melange Brazil Fashion Show in Rio de Janeiro as well as Marco Marco in Los Angeles and New York. She also appeared in Gareth Pugh's fashion film "PITTI.”
